“Kin” in Kenya: Colleen’s Visit to Kenya

“After this I saw a vast crowd, too great to count, from every nation and tribe and people and language, standing in front of the throne…”

In June, I was able to visit Kenya and members of the Community Christian Churches who have directly received Harvest of Talents funds. I was blessed to be welcomed into the homes of three families, each with their own unique stories.

In the dusty bush of Kenya, we got to have a glimpse of Heaven as people of different tongues, skin color, and customs gathered together under the name of Christ to fellowship, pray and encourage one another. As I met with the various families and heard their stories, I was repeatedly told “we always wondered if we’d meet someone from where the money came from”. It was an honor to represent LCC and HOT, and bring greetings from our church to our fellow brothers and sisters in Kenya. In return, I bring greetings and thanks for your work in the Harvest of Talents.
